Role
Who you are
- Previous experience in a hunting role - preferably account executive or sales development. Industry experience that translates well include: food, hospitality, media and technology
- Experience with Salesforce (or CRM) preferred; accountability and demonstrated ability to effectively manage and meet key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Polished, detail-oriented professional with a humble and collaborative attitude
- Data analysis skills with raw data to create performance reports and projections to identify and understand trends, opportunities and issues
- Enthusiasm for sustainability, food waste reduction, and environmental issues
- Experience with value-based selling and/or MEDDICC methodology (preferred)
What the job involves
- We’re looking for an exceptional Mid Market Account Executive to join the team at Too Good To Go to lead the US partnership with a global rollout
- Your primary focus will be on hunting, developing and adding New Supplying Stores (NSS) with Key Accounts, encompassing 20-70 locations across the United States
- Discovery: Asking insightful questions to uncover client (or team) needs and opportunities
- Quarterbacking: Take charge of opportunities, leading your teammates and clients with clarity and cohesion
- Deal Advancement: Move deals forward by influencing decisions and instilling a sense of urgency
- Negotiation: Navigate large-scale negotiations with confidence... handling objections and seeking mutually beneficial outcomes
- Communication: Polished and effective communication with stakeholders and team members to ensure that we deliver a high quality client engagement with our key accounts. Ideally we are looking for someone who is comfortable presenting to C-Suites
- Organizational Skills: Effective documentation and resource management to ensure will be critical to the successful launch and continued rollout of our key partner
- Cool Cucumber: The ideal candidate is an individual who not only loves a challenge but also thrives in the face of occasional ambiguity
Our take
With more than one-third of food wasted in shops and restaurants, tonnes of otherwise quality goods are unnecessarily lost. Too Good To Go connects customers to restaurants and stores that have unsold, surplus food, offering steep discounts. Through this, businesses can sell surplus meals that would've otherwise gone to waste, and the environment wins as no food is wasted.
The company has certainly found its niche with sustainability-conscious consumers (a group that is growing in size as environmentally-focused consumers get more spending power). Too Good To Go's app has over 90M users across 18 countries and 215,000+ partners including retailers, hotels and restaurants such as ALDI, Carrefour, Accor and YO! Sushi.
The company is also creating a food waste movement website intended to be an informative source of knowledge regarding the issue. This is part of a wider strategy at raising awareness of the food waste problem, to get more users on board and further help the planet.
