Role
Who you are
- 7+ years of product management experience
- Functional knowledge of one or more of the following areas: Project Management, Project Budgeting, or Project Billing
- Experience in an accounting or finance related role
- Experience in a billing role
- Knowledge of financial accounting rules, processes and regulations to serve as a Subject-Matter-Expert for this functional area
- Enterprise system configuration, administration, integration or implementation experience

- We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Product Manager - Project Financials at Workday in Boulder
- As a member of our Professional Services Automation - Product Management team, you will play a vital role in crafting and delivering world-class products that redefine the way users interact with their project budgeting, billing, and invoicing software
- Exceptionally innovative: You will have the opportunity to build simplified experiences across the system, ensuring an effective and intuitive user experience without compromising functionality or compliance
- Collaborative: You will work closely with our internal development teams, user experience experts, and other team members to drive the product development life cycle. Your role as the user representative will be essential in presenting functional requirements both internally and externally
- Voice of the customer: You will directly engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, shaping the product roadmap accordingly. Your insights will be instrumental in delivering features that exceed customer expectations
- Leadership: You will coach, mentor, and partner with team members. Your ability to identify and research trends will fuel continued innovation within our Professional Services Automation
- Innovating and crafting a roadmap for delivering project budgeting and billing products within our Professional Services Automation
- Collaborating with internal teams to convey functional requirements and build impactful roadmaps
- Planning releases, communicating, and guiding progress against goals
- Evangelizing new product features and benefits at user conferences and other venues
