Role
Who you are
- Prefer 4+ years of experience in a product management role (preferably in healthcare) solving complex business problems with demonstrated measurable impact to the business and user experience
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA), interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR), Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms, and data sharing
- Experience with large enterprises (payers, PBMs, hospital systems)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Technical proficiency in data integration, cloud platforms, and database management
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Love to solve complex problems and build solutions that deliver business value
- Take a hypothesis-based approach and experimentation
- Synthesize, describe, and optimize complex business processes
- Quantify impacts, both scrappily and leveraging advanced product analytics tools such as Mixpanel
- Empathize with the perspective of a broad variety of end-users and stakeholders and share their stories with strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Assess and synthesize information and share information in an accessible way
- Be deeply curious and teachable; a growth mindset towards building new skills and taking on new responsibilities as our business needs mature and change
- Demonstrate operational and/or cross-functional experience, especially with non-technical partners, coordinate varied viewpoints to build trust and shared accountability towards outcomes

- Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to frequently communicate with others through virtual meeting applications such as Zoom and Google Meet
- Must be able to observe and communicate information on company provided laptop
- Move up to 10 pounds on occasion
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
What the job involves
- The Product Manager will be responsible for developing and managing products to support Octave’s partnerships with enterprises
- This semi-customer-facing role ensures our platform meets enterprise needs, collecting referrals from medication prescribers and primary care providers to therapists
- Drive enterprise product strategy and define well-scoped product requirements balancing user needs and business goals
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Product Operations, and business stakeholders to shepherd product solutions through the full product lifecycle: brainstorming, research, wireframing, testing, development, deployment, impact-evaluation, and optimization
- Gather and incorporate customer feedback and act as the primary contact for large enterprise customers ensuring their needs are heard, understood and evaluated
- Partner and coordinate with product and eng leaders across areas (e.g. growth, internal tools) to achieve goals
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of initiatives launched with partners
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the experience is user-friendly and efficient for use by relevant stakeholders
- Ensure platform interoperability and data transfer with EHRs and other healthcare IT systems
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Outreach Management, Customer Experience, Care Navigation) and provide product training on new features
- Ability to travel nationally approximately 20%
