Role
Who you are
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 year’s experience writing Python scripts required
- Proven experience as a Python Developer, with a focus on data visualization
- Proficiency in Python programming language and relevant libraries for data manipulation and visualization (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Plotly, Highcharts)
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical concepts
- Experience working with SQL databases and proficiency in writing complex queries
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and informative data visualizations
- Experience with Blockly preferred
- Experience with Excel Add-Ins preferred
- Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
What the job involves
- We are seeking a skilled Python Developer that specializes in data visualization
- You will play a pivotal role in transforming complex datasets into insightful and visually appealing representations
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data visualization solutions that drive informed decision-making and enhance user experience
- Visualization Design: Collaborate closely with designers to develop visually compelling charts, graphs, and dashboards using Python
- Data Integration: Work with the Data Engineering and Platform team to incorporate new datasets into existing dashboards and visualizations
- Performance Optimization: Optimize data visualization code for performance and scalability, considering factors like rendering speed and resource utilization
- User Experience Enhancement: Continuously improve the user experience of data visualization products by incorporating user feedback and best practices in data visualization design
- Multi-Product Compatibility: Implement visualizations that are compatible with a custom dashboard platform and Excel Add-Ins
