Who you are

Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar
First experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in a startup or fintech company
Strong Python skills, familiarity with relevant frameworks and ability to write structured and well documented code
Basic SQL knowledge, familiarity with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and management of ETL processes
Working knowledge about test driven development
Experience with CI/CD, Docker and cloud infrastructure is a plus
Experience in Data Analysis, Machine Learning, and/or Data Visualization is a plus
Excellent English speaking and writing abilities

Join our Data Engineering team to participate in developing the company's production data architecture to support Data Science and Business Intelligence needs
Utilise your knowledge of relational databases to maintain our existing database structure while managing ETL processes. Your educational background will provide you with a solid foundation to help develop and maintain our data infrastructure
Ensure database quality by implementing automated tests and having understanding of the business logic behind the data
Use your expertise in Python and experience with popular frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or dagster to maintain our data services, applications, and pipelines
