What the job involves
- As the Accounting Coordinator, you will support the accounting department as it manages the finances of the company
- This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-moving team and learn more about general accounting principles and our industry
- Ensures seamless transactions between buyers and sellers through our marketplace
- Supports the accounting team in day-to-day processes
- Assists vendors and employees with timely payment of company expenses
- Maintains accurate and timely records that impact financial statements and reporting

- Learn how ticket marketplaces operate and how you’ll contribute to providing great experiences for our customers
- Acclimate to team and company norms, business objectives, and Vivid Seats values
- Reconcile banking activity to ensure proper recording of transactions
- Understand the accounting structure for many aspects of our business

- Contribute to our approaches, methods, or technologies to support overall business goals and drive team efficiency
- Maintain, develop and aid internal and external relationships to achieve progress and advance objectives
- Collaborate with various levels of the accounting team to assist in daily tasks
- Create daily journal entries to record large volumes of transactions
- Assist with accounts payable for vendor payments, employee reimbursements and proper categorization of employee credit card expenses

- Apply methods to execute individual tasks that positively impact the team
- Play an active role in continued learning to advance skill sets necessary for team goals
- Assist in providing audit support as needed
- Complete account reconciliations that impact our month-end close
