Role
Who you are
- Patient, thoughtful, and composed under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
- A proactive communicator who effectively identifies, documents, and escalates risks, issues, and scope changes to IT stakeholders
- 1–2 years of experience in Level 1 technical support within a mixed environment (approx. 70% Mac, 30% PC)
- Proficiency across standard web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) on both macOS and Windows platforms.A process-oriented mindset with experience using IT ticketing systems; experience creating documentation (knowledge bases) and automating workflows is a major plus
- Hands-on administration experience with Mac OS and Windows OS, Google Workspace, Okta, and NinjaOne (or similar MDM solution)
- Solid understanding of web concepts, including troubleshooting techniques like clearing cache, inspecting elements, and utilizing the browser console
- Experience working with Audio/Visual systems in a corporate environment (Google Meet, Zoom Rooms) and ability to support company-wide All Hands meetings
- Exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with a natural knack for problem-solving
- A genuine passion for delivering an outstanding customer support experience
- Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to following established processes and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A foundational understanding of eCommerce business operations
- General networking knowledge to effectively collaborate with and assist the remote infrastructure team
- The ability to work standard daily hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Availability to work on-site from our San Francisco office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
- Flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays, with occasional on-site attendance required based on project demands
- Physical ability to safely lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
What the job involves
- Minted is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist II to champion the technical needs of our growing business
- In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert for our corporate team, dedicated to delivering a world-class support experience
- You will proactively triage and troubleshoot technical issues, acting as a vital conduit to the broader IT team to ensure swift resolution
- Beyond day-to-day helpdesk operations, you will manage high-volume provisioning of macOS and Windows systems via NinjaOne, while leveraging SSO and identity management across Okta and Google Workspace

Minted is a design marketplace, sourcing creative content from a global community of artists, using technology and crowdsourcing to give consumers access to independent creatives unavailable through traditional retailers.
With the success of sites like Etsy allowing consumers to buy direct from artisans, Minted sets itself apart by holding monthly art and design challenges which are open for both submission and voting. The ‘crowd’ curates Minted’s product selection by rating products, and Minted utilizes analytics to evaluate votes. The winning designs go into production which is taken care of by Minted's fulfillment house and the designers receive a 6%-10% cut of the sales.
Its unique ‘design by upvoting’ business model has led to almost $300M in funding, with backing from Benchmark Capital and IDG Ventures. As contests draw in more designers, the company is looking to expand beyond Minted.com and into physical retail, finding new ways to use the designs and creating fresh income streams for themselves and their artists.
