- As a Product Manager Intern - You’ll be working with the Super + and FinTech Team to take on a pivotal role in helping users save money, build credit and get access to credit
- You will work with product, design, engineering, research and many other functions, to help grow our Super + membership program profitably
- You'll receive on-the-job training through programs like Reforge and mentors and coaches with decades of experience
- You'll participate in strategic thinking, delivery, and the actualization of products used by millions of people
- As a team member on the product team, you'll be given challenges and opportunities that will promote your growth
- This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where you will work closely with key members of our product team to ideate, project- and product-manage, and execute on initiatives related to our product strategy
- Product Management: You will formulate the product requirements and execute our Super+ Product roadmap
- This includes defining product features and specifications in well-defined product requirement documents, breaking larger features into bite-sized implementation roadmaps, and working closely with engineering teams to build and scale these features
- Communication: Clear written and oral communication to larger and higher stake audiences. Includes: writing clear emails, communicating clearly in person, writing and providing presentations
- Data Analysis: Ability to dive into sets of raw data to draw key insights that can be used to drive business decision
- Collaboration: More facilitation and getting things done with others within and across teams and external partners. Includes: actively participating in meetings, leading meetings, running team processes, solving problems with other teams, appropriately avoiding and diffusing conflict
- Details and Quality: Writing clear specs with use cases, delivering products small and large on time and with few bugs, navigating options to deal with bumps in the road, achieving outcomes, supporting product execution across multiple engineering teams
- User Experience Mapping and Design Collaborations: You will work collaboratively with designers, UXR and members of the product team, to ensure the ideal user experience is clearly mapped out and validated with data
- This creates the foundations for new product innovation and feature improvements. You will be providing critical feedback during design reviews to ensure our designs are effective, scalable, and beautiful
Our take
eCommerce scaleup Super (formerly known as Snapcommerce) is looking to revolutionize the eCommerce experience. Instead of shopping around disparate sources for the best consumer product deals, Super wants users to be able to send a message to their account and have the best personalized deals returned, ready to purchase.
The company has tried-and-tested this approach with its flagship and original platform Snaptravel, which delivers travel deals via a text-like interface across Messenger, WhatsApp, and SMS. It proved a hit, crossing the $1B sales mark with nearly half of sales coming from repeat customers. This is substantial, as any significant overhaul of how people shop requires both efficacy and popularity to catch on - Snaptravel has both, which bodes well for the broader Super brand.
The recent boom in eCommerce has spilt over into a marked increase in mobile commerce, too. With Gen Z more likely to shop using mobile, and this demographic maturing into a substantial consumer demographic, Super, with some serious funding to its name, is poised to lead a bold and lucrative new wave in online shopping.
