Who you are
- A personable attitude, who can successfully work cross-functionally with various stakeholder groups within Snap and across partner organizations
- Experience in negotiating incentive programs and agreements with partners

- A proven track record of managing revenue pipelines and delivering against revenue goals

- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in digital advertising, partnership management, or business development, preferably in the technology or media industries
- Demonstrated experience working with platforms that drive low funnel campaigns with a focus on eCommerce and Dynamic Product Ads
- Proven ability in complex third-party integrations, especially in the sectors mentioned
What the job involves
- The Revenue Partnerships team is responsible for unlocking accelerated growth to Snap’s Advertising business through leading Adtech and Indy Agency Partners within the Campaign Management, Merchant Platform, LeadGen, and Creator sectors
- Working from our NYC or LA office, you will represent and manage a selection of Snapchat’s Revenue Partners across Campaign Management and Indy Agency Business Development
- You will be working cross-functionally with key stakeholders across our Product, Engineering and Sales teams, taking feedback from partners' business/product leads and their customers to drive adoption and growth of Snap’s monetization related products
- We’re looking for a Revenue Partnerships Senior Lead to join Team Snapchat!
- Deeply understand Snap’s monetization-related products and underlying implementations
- Develop strategic partner management plans for key partners
- Manage the core operations of these partners from initial outreach into integration and long term partner management, serving as the day-to-day primary point of contact for key Partners to drive mutually agreed upon KPI’s
- Work closely with Sales, PMM, Product and Solutions Engineering teams to scope new product integrations across Snapchat’s Ads API, document requirements, and ongoing feature improvements
- Support Go-To-Market strategies, co-marketing and commercial activations with partners inclusive of developing Snap-specific partner materials and new business activation incentive programs
- Resolve and triage partner challenges quickly
- Track and analyze key metrics that measure partner success and value
- Serve as the “voice of the partner” within Snap, disseminating relevant information to internal stakeholders shareholders as needed
Our take
Snap is the social media giant that owns Snapchat, a social media mobile app released in 2011. Created to serve as a more emotive communication form than texting, the app has gained mass popularity, reaching upwards of 400 million daily users worldwide.
After rejecting a billion dollar acquisition from Meta (then Facebook) in 2013, Snap has found itself in competition with the social media giant, particularly with Instagram. Despite this, the company has marked a place for itself in the ever competitive social media space through developing features like a Discover tab, augmented reality lenses, in-app games, ads and monetisation options, as well as launching its paid service, Snapchat+.
Snap has so far not earned an annual profit since going public in 2017, but as Snapchat's user base has continually increased it has nearly closed the gap. Like other tech companies it suffered in late 2022 due to a surprise drop in advertising revenue, but has been rebuilding to its former trajectory since then. Given Snapchat's lasting popularity amongst young people, further success appears likely.
