Role
Who you are
- Education: BS/BA degree or equivalent in relevant sales experience
- Experience: 4+ years of full sales cycle experience in an Account Executive or equivalent quota-carrying role selling software/technology
- Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com, Outreach (or equivalent tech stack), Gong and Google Suite Tools
- Experienced customer advocate and brand ambassador
- Internally motivated individual with a strong desire to problem-solve
What the job involves
- As an Account Executive, you will be part of the SMB Outpatient Sales Team, responsible for the full sales cycle - prospecting, running discovery calls, conducting online demonstrations of our platform for healthcare facilities across the country, and driving Medely platform usage
- You will work strategically to grow net new facility count and revenue in assigned markets across the US
- Own, manage, and drive the full sales process from prospecting through the close
- Meet and exceed daily activity metrics and KPIs to ensure opportunities move successfully through the sales cycle to booking a job
- Run effective discovery and demo calls and build Medely value to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Generate and maintain expert knowledge of Medely products, and the healthcare staffing industry, and learn the competitive landscape
- Specialize in specific healthcare verticals and stay informed about market happenings and trends (ASC, Urgent Care, Imaging and Radiology Centers)
- Build a strong, vertical-focused sales pipeline by implementing an outbound sales motion as well as inbound lead generation
- Suggest and/or create sales materials that will help close business
- Maintain a complete, accurate, up-to-date sales pipeline, forecast, and activity log
- This position requires 25% travel both local and overnight, to meet with clients and members of the medical community

Nurses and allied healthcare providers can utilize the platform to secure a job when it suits them and at their preferred rates. Healthcare centers use the system to find suitable employees, manage their workforce, and track billable hours.
There is a worldwide nursing shortage, with burnout common among healthcare professionals, leaving many healthcare employers to increasingly rely on data-driven recruitment tools such as Medely. By offering greater flexibility, and bringing casual work to healthcare, the company aims to reduce shortages and increase industry retention - even giving workers who previously left the sector a way back in.
Medely has secured a good stance in the field of the nursing gig economy, with several thousands of hospitals and outpatient facilities using the company for their staffing needs. That said, with a collection of competitors such as IntelyCare, CareRev, and Nomad - all of which also offer marketplaces for health care workers - Medely must work hard to continue growing its presence.
