Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of relevant experience as a Product Manager
- Highly analytical, using data to help inform decisions. Comfort with SQL a plus
- Experience working hands-on with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Hex, Looker, Tableau)
- Results oriented. You can cut to the core of a problem, identify what needs to be done, and work across teams to get solutions shipped
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate and maintain relationships with a diverse group of R&D and commercial partners
- Seeks out win-win solutions that meet the needs of our users and customers
- Curiosity with an extreme attention to detail that drives self-audit of your work
- MacGyver attitude: when something needs to get done, you are creative, persistent and resourceful. You do what it takes to GSD (get stuff done)
- Prior experience in healthcare, particularly basic familiarity with claims data and/or referral flows, is a plus
What the job involves
- The Hospital Solutions team at Doximity is seeking a commercially-minded Product Manager to support the growth of our hospital partnerships business
- This role will improve existing products and create new ones
- You will be responsible for enhancing the internal targeting and campaign delivery tools of our core marketing business
- You will also experiment to uncover win-win opportunities that tap into other parts of the Doximity platform
- We work with the best hospitals in the country and it’s exciting to help them reach the right clinician audience with clinically relevant information
- Doximity PMs are goal-oriented and work with various stakeholders to gather requirements, create specs, and develop products that matter
- You will work closely with product, engineering, data, and commercial team members to build solutions that meet the needs of our users and customers

- Own the mission, strategy, goals, and metrics to measure those goals
- Inspire a cross-functional team of engineers and data analysts in the development of new product initiatives
- Gather and generate requirements for product evolution based on business goals and internal user needs
- Lead an Agile/Scrum process to establish the product roadmap with R&D and commercial stakeholders
- Identify, assess and scope product opportunities, driving new feature development from conception to launch and optimization
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to develop and enhance partnerships that drive product success
- Work closely with sales and client success teams to optimize product strategy and ensure client satisfaction
- Build consensus on strategy, design, and technical decisions
Our take
Doximity provides an app to connect physicians, so they can stay on top of medical news and in touch with their peers. Establishing itself as the "LinkedIn for Doctors", it has become the largest community of healthcare professionals in the US, with a large majority of doctors, NPs & physician assistants among its verified members.
Though there are other platforms out there connecting physicians, Doximity appears to be regarded as the leader in this space, boasting a large and established presence. Amongst its successes is the fact that its "Doximity Dialer" platform has twice been recognised as 'Best in KLAS’ in the Telehealth - Video Conferencing Platforms segment at the KLAS awards.
Since its 2021 IPO, Doximity has significantly grown its revenue, primarily through allowing drugmakers to promote products and services to doctors, and acting as a recruitment tool for medical systems. The company is currently focused on developing its product, increasing its utility through integrations with health record systems and adding AI administrative tools. It is well poised to achieve its ambitious goal of attaining $1 billion in annual revenue by 2028.
