- Proven experience in multi-channel marketing, especially in paid social, AdWords, digital display ads, and email campaigns
- Hands-on expertise with marketing automation tools like HubSpot
- Knowledge of various software and tools such as Zoom, ahrefs, Hootsuite, SalesLoft, Sketch, and CRM systems
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics

What the job involves
- Orchestrating Marketing Initiatives: Own and lead the entire marketing strategy, from concept to execution, and meticulously monitor performance to spark interest and foster demand
- Spearheading Demand Generation: Lead all demand generation activities, incorporating a blend of inbound and outbound tactics, with a focus on agile strategy sprints, ensuring a steady stream of potential customers
- Data-Driven Experimentation: Innovate through data-driven and experiment-led methods to discover scalable and repeatable lead generation channels, paving the way for sustained revenue growth
- Content-Driven Inbound Marketing: Embrace a content-first approach that powers inbound marketing efforts, resulting in increased web traffic and enhanced lead conversions, igniting the flames of demand
- Collaborative Content Creation: Collaborate closely with freelance content creators and our in-house design team to craft captivating, audience-centric content that resonates and piques the interest of potential customers
- Performance Insights Utilisation: Harness the power of analytical tools, such as Google Analytics, to continually monitor and fine-tune website performance and acquisition campaigns, ensuring that demand generation remains at the forefront of our growth strategy
- Marketing Technology Stack Optimisation: Diligently oversee and optimise our marketing technology stack to seamlessly integrate tools and systems for maximum efficiency in driving demand

Our take
Odin is at the apex of two major trends in finance: the democratisation of access to private markets through technology, and the increasingly social feel of finance and investing. The startup began as a social network with an investment layer built on top, though it is now a more focused financial service that simplifies startup investing.
The company's roots in social and community speak to a unique trajectory it is on. After gaining a lot of traction with its syndicate-formation service, the startup has been looking to develop further products that decentralise and simplify capital rails for the innovation ecosystem. It’s likely that the product roadmap will be developed in conjunction with its customer base, many of whom attend Odin’s salons.
Though the company has had to navigate an environment where capital going towards innovative companies is at a fraction of where it once was, it appears to have emerged unscathed, if not stronger. In 2023, it raised £2.4 million in a seed round that included contributions from 220 angels through its own platform. It plans to use these funds to roll out its marketplace for people raising money to find investors, as well as support scale-up plans across Europe and possibly into Asia.
