Who you are

Experience in P&L management (cost control, gross and operating margins)
Bilingual in Dutch and English is essential
A clear history of successful business development
Experience of working within a premium branded business
Adept at building and managing forecasts and budgets
Experience working with Consumer Goods would be an advantage
Experience of dealing with major National and Regional accounts
Understanding of trade marketing including sales planning and promotions
Successful track record in previous roles showing an ability to develop
A strong networker and capable of influencing at a senior level
Have an excellent understanding of the Homewares market, key accounts and customers

What the job involves

We are looking for a passionate Business Development Manager to join our team, working closely with our Benelux customers
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director based in the Netherlands
You will be responsible for all sales, trade marketing and daily operations in the Benelux region
Responsible for managing multiple, key customers through positive relationships to deliver profitable and sustainable growth, launching and driving availability of New Product Development while executing promotional plans for the portfolio
Grow the Benelux business over the next 5-years through new product introduction, category and distribution expansion
Drive a creative and entrepreneurial agenda, prioritising new opportunities, whilst maintaining established relationships
Manage and develop the main day to day functions of the Benelux business. Sales, Trade Marketing, and Promotions
Full responsibility for the P&L and growth of both top line revenue and overall margin
Devise and execute comprehensive and cost-effective account plans, JBP’s and promotional plans and regularly review with each individual key account
Develop a senior level network within all key partners, increase engagement and commitment to the brand
Optimise existing commercial relationships and actively pursue new business opportunities
Be able to feed market and product information back to the design teams in our London HQ to shape future product development
Successfully manage new product introductions and category expansio
