5+ years of experience in field marketing or event marketing, preferably in AI, B2B, SaaS, or technology industries

What the job involves

As a Field Marketing Manager at Contextual AI, you’ll own our field marketing and events strategy end-to-end—from major industry conferences to high-touch, sales-aligned experiences like executive dinners and roadshows—driving measurable pipeline and revenue impact with enterprise buyers
Plan and execute field events, trade shows, conference sponsorships, and community events to generate pipeline, leads, and customer engagement
Develop and execute localized field marketing campaigns aligned with company goals and sales objectives
Manage the full lifecycle of field activities, including venue selection, contract negotiation, content programming, and on-site logistics for roadshows, roundtables, and industry conferences
Partner closely with Sales to identify target accounts and align event goals with territory plans
Build the operational infrastructure, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and "event-in-a-box" playbooks that allow our field presence to expand efficiently
Own our presence at key industry conferences. You will ensure we stand out from the crowd, engage and educate prospects, and develop compelling booth experiences, and a rigorous lead capture processes
Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of field marketing activities against KPIs, including lead generation, pipeline creation, conversion rates, messaging effectiveness, and ROI
Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and event logistics to ensure successful execution, budget adherence, and cost efficiency
Provide insights from field activities and customer interactions to inform go-to-market strategies and product positioning

Our take

Founded by former Facebook research scientists, Contextual AI is building customizable, scalable and trustworthy Large Language Models for use by enterprises. Its main product is a tool to improve model performance so that users can build production-grade AI systems.

The backbone of this product is a technology that feeds curated information into AI models so that the LLM can have more context and up-to-date information. This helps to minimize AI “hallucinations”, an increasingly common problem for models like ChatGPT.

Contextual AI is currently working with companies in the finance, technology and media sectors. Following its 2024 funding round, the company has gained momentum, most recently announcing the launch of Agent Composer, a product aimed at moving enterprise RAG from experimentation to production ready AI agents.
