What the job involves
- The Senior Product Manager is a key position to support our growth, and we are looking for an experienced product manager to join us
- As the Senior Product Manager on our growing team, you will be working cross functionally to design, build, and roll-out products and features that align with Drata’s strategy and vision
- A top-notch senior product manager will have worked on numerous projects and have a firm grasp of how to satisfy consumers’ needs
- Ideal candidates will be equally analytical and creative, and able to justify decisions to a range of stakeholders
- This is an ideal position for someone who thrives in changing environments and can build the roadmap to create innovative product offerings
- Define roadmap and requirements to solve the biggest customer problems
- Define an MVP experience and quickly learn and iterate based on feedback
- Form hypothesis and run experiments using lean methodologies
- Partner closely with engineering and design teams to define, build, and maintain products/features which are critical to growth and retention
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams on release plans and documentation to deliver value to our customers
- Collaborate effectively with GTM partners to plan and launch products and capabilities, including alpha, beta and GA phasis with process success criteria for each phase
- Define success criteria and measure the success and effectiveness of features and capabilities
- Build business cases justifying investment in feature and capabilities and present to stakeholder across the org
- Proactively partner across teams to anticipate and address risk & dependencies
- Communicate progress and plan to leadership, peers, etc

Traditional manual compliance workflows are tedious, error-prone and extremely hard to scale, which presents special difficulties for rapidly growing companies in maintaining strong data security. Drata enables companies to manage compliance easily, by automatic monitoring and evidence collection, building a single picture of risk across the company.
The company has several competitors offering compliance automation solutions, including Vanta and Secureframe , but Drata is unique in automating the tasks themselves rather than generating notifications for teams to action. This approach has garnered Drata a client base of thousands of companies including bambooHR, Notion and Abnormal.
Drata has grown swiftly since its 2020 founding. Iconiq Growth and GGV Capital have led Drata's impressive funding rounds. It intends to use its influx of cash to invest heavily in research and development, and to roll out new features for auditors and startups.
