- 5-7 years of employee benefits experience with a brokerage; Recent experience independently managing accounts with minimal guidance
- Recent experience supporting: New York-based small employer groups (50-100 lives)
- Strong knowledge of small group plans and products
- Knowledge of financial arrangements and health products including fully insured, level & self funded, captives
- Health Insurance License required
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Google suite, written and communication skills
- Comfortable public speaking, including presenting renewal information, financials and open enrollments meetings and webinar recordings

- We’re looking for a dynamic Small Group Client Manager to join our team and make an impact from day one!
- In this role, you’ll manage a book of business consisting of small groups (50-100 lives) primarily based in New York
- While the accounts may be smaller in size, the impact is just as big – we’re seeking a consultative partner who can deliver creative strategies and thoughtful solutions to meet each client’s unique needs
- You’ll be the go-to advisor for your clients, building strong relationships and designing tailored benefit strategies that drive real value
- #owntheoutcome: Act as a trusted advisor for an assigned book of employer groups (50-100 lives); Be adaptable and flexible to proactively address client issues and needs and deliver a best in class client experience
- #beagreatcopilot: Collaborate with vendor partners and internal stakeholders to manage the day to day servicing of clients and members; Possess the ability to delegate, provide oversight and give feedback to others
- #driveprogressthroughaction: Drive your client's annual service plan adherence strategy including, but not limited to, management and execution of the renewal process, open enrollment, vendor deployment, member education and compliance support
- #createsuperfans: Foster consultative relationships with client executives and deliver novel benefit solutions for our growing portfolio of national clients

While traditional brokers earn commissions through complex deals with Fortune 500 companies, Nava takes a different approach. It uses technology to craft personalized benefits plans for smaller employers and make it easy for employees to navigate their benefits. From understanding their options and booking appointments sot interpreting claims and solving billing issues, Nava simplifies the entire process.
One of Nava's challenges will be staying ahead of the curve by continuously adopting the latest innovations in healthcare benefits. To strengthen its position, the company has acquired i2, a healthcare benefits consulting firm, adding valuable expertise to its team. Additionally, Nava launched its "Members Experience" offering, which streamlines everything from open enrollment to ongoing member support, ensuring a smoother and more transparent benefits journey for employees.
