Who you are
- Strong background in Utilities architectural design
- 13+ years of utilities development experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Agility to adapt to technologies and processes quickly
- Strong development/programming experience in Python/Ansible/ Kubernetes
Desirable
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field
- Experience with Kubernetes, Enterprise Compute Platforms, and Data Center Infrastructure
What the job involves
- As a Senior Solution Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated solutions, working with industry leading partners based in a collaborative work environment
- Your contributions will influence productivity and efficiency changes in our customer's edge utility environments
- Design and lead the effort on solution validation processes and tools to make our partner offers simpler and more robust in the utilities industry
- Mentor peer engineers in design collaboration, code reviews, development tools and processes
- Take part in the full solution development life cycle including definition support to product managers, validation of requirements and documentation of best practices learned during validation
- Be an active member of an agile team, collaboratively realizing features through development, test and delivery
