Who you are
- You are passionate about changing the face of mental health care and Spring Health’s mission to remove all barriers to mental health resonates with you
- You have 5+ years of working experience working with data, data visualization, and dashboarding tools
- You have experience working with product and/or finance analytics
- You are strong in SQL, and have used dbt or similar data transformation tools
- You have strong user empathy - you can deeply understand the core issues stakeholders are having and translate them into solutions that meaningfully improve their ability to operate
- You have experience working with Looker or other similar data visualization tools (Hex, Tableau, Omni, etc), both creating the data model and building dashboards
- You focus on impact, finding the things you can deliver that deliver the most value for your stakeholders
- You have good communication skills, are comfortable explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience, and are comfortable working independently with executive level team members
- You are humble, highly motivated, and thrive in fast-paced environments
- You have a proven ability to proactively manage your own priorities and dependencies in alignment with cross-functional dependencies and business impact

What the job involves
- We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst within our Business Intelligence organization to work with the Customer Value product team
- The Customer Value team is responsible for matching members to providers, routing members to the appropriate care, and forecasting utilization for each of our customers
- This position will be critical in building out the metric tree that shows the north star metrics that the Customer Value product team drives, and the component metrics that provide visibility into the drivers and influences that they should be focused on to do root cause analysis
- It is vital that the Customer Value team can measure the impact of precision care routing (PCR) on financial performance to uncover optimization opportunities
- Equipping the team with this BI support is critical to their success
- You’ll operate in a cross functional data team that includes data scientists and analytics engineers, all of whom are working towards this goal with you
- This is a full time position on our team that reports to the Associate Director, Analytics - Product and Revenue
- Partner with the Customer Value team to build, maintain, and improve reporting infrastructure that supports our provider experience metrics and related KPIs
- Develop a metric tree for any distinct Customer Value team with a separate North Star Metric, that can be broken down into component metrics and influences
- Develop dashboards and data visualizations that empower non technical users within the Customer Value team to understand overall trends and drill into drivers of metric movements
- Support the Customer Value sub-team responsible for routing members to the right care by measuring the impact of this routing on financial performance
- Partner with the data science team to dive deeper into major trends, helping us understand what is driving those changes
- Ensure downstream teams can access and utilize data effectively by providing training, documentation and support for the dashboards and data products you deliver
- Ensure accurate and consistent reporting of metrics, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data alignment across the business
- Work with our analytics engineering team to maintain the core data models in dbt that support these metrics and ensure data consistency
- Develop tools and analyses that enable the Customer Value team to hit their own KPIs - you’re successful when you help your team be successful!
- Reduce the amount of time teams spend manually pulling data to inform decisions
- Develop dashboards and analyses that deliver ongoing value to teams, measured in proxy by the number of monthly active users and total views different dashboards and analyses receive
- Contribute to our foundational data model by adding additional fields and tables according to our data style guide

Large companies often provide employees with mental health services, but small businesses find it challenging to offer similar support. Additionally, existing support systems are usually generalised, failing to deliver the personalised mental healthcare that individuals need. To address this gap, Spring Health has developed AI-driven tools for employers to create tailored mental wellness plans for their employees, including treatment options, daily routines, and medication plans based on individual data.
Spring Health has recently expanded its services to the family and pediatric space through the acquisition of Weldon, offering mental wellness guidance to parents. This expansion includes chats with therapists, social workers, and parenting coaches, as well as group support with other parents and access to educational content. By focusing on personalised care, Spring Health aims to enhance mental wellness support for families alongside its existing employee services.
The behavioural health market is projected to grow to $242B by 2027. While many solutions prioritise fast access to therapy or meditation, Spring Health differentiates itself by emphasising the right type of care for each individual.
