Who you are
- Demonstrable professional Javascript coding experience & comfortable working with our stack
- Well-rounded front-end and back-end experience, with a strong appetite to work across the full stack
- Working Knowledge of SQL databases
- Great attention to detail
- Strong communicator and the ability to work cross functionally
Desirable
- Experience working in a start-up or scale up environment
- Interest/experience in the property market
- Experience working with APIs
What the job involves
- We're looking for a mid-level full stack developer to join our cross-functional Growth team, which includes developers, designers, and product managers working across core and new product, marketing and acquisition initiatives
- The engineering team operates as a single unit led by a Lead Developer, comprising a senior developer, three mid-level and a junior
- You’ll be expected to manage end-to-end delivery of projects after an initial settling-in period (2–3 months), working across both front-end and back-end with a fairly even split
- Strong problem-solving skills, comfort with ambiguity, and a product mindset will be key in this role
- While people management isn’t required, collaboration is—this role involves regular interaction with teams across the wider Growth team, Customer Support, Operations, and Design, depending on the project
- We follow a bi-weekly sprint cadence with planning, retros, daily standups, and regular code reviews

Homeowners looking to sell use this information to help them choose the best estate agent and maximise the sale value of their homes.
GetAgent also provides agents with leads that they only pay for if the introduction turns into a sale, with thousands of estate agents making use of the platform. Altogether, the sales of over £100 billion worth of property have been associated with the platform, through hundreds of thousands of homeowner users.
The data GetAgent uses to create performance comparisons originates from the research the company had conducted itself on the real estate industry, the results of which it makes publicly available. This transparency, and the wider work of the platform, aim to contribute to improving the competitiveness of the estate agency market in an alternative way to other market players.
