- A proven record of 5-7 years in technical recruitment, ideally within a technology-focused company's in-house team
- In-depth knowledge of engineering software and frameworks

- Demonstrated ability to attract passive candidates and build diverse talent pipelines
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, exhibiting both professionalism and approachability

What the job involves
- As a Technical Recruiter at Thoughtful AI, you will be an essential element of our growth, your mission being to identify, attract and close the world's best tech talent. You'll drive the technical arm of our recruitment process for the product and engineering divisions shaping how we scale our operations
- In this role, you'll be granted autonomy and must navigate the uncertainties of a fast-paced startup environment
- We're looking for someone ready to embrace challenges, roll up their sleeves, and journey through the thrilling terrain of growth with us
- End-to-end recruitment for our product and engineering departments
- Collaborate closely with engineering hiring teams to streamline our hiring process and to attract and filter top-tier talent
- Immerse yourself within our engineering teams to garner a deep understanding of our operations, technology, and talent requirements
- Strategize and implement plans for sourcing diverse talent for each of your recruitment initiatives, including outbound strategy, lead generation, and face-to-face meetings
- Network with potential candidates at industry conferences, local tech gatherings, and university recruitment drives
- Craft detailed and engaging job descriptions and conduct prescreening procedures to evaluate the suitability of applicants
- Interview candidates employing a mix of methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions)
Our take
Staffing is one of the most expensive contributors to business operation expenses, leading OpEx teams to minimize workforce sizes to cut costs. However, this often results in unfilled roles leading to larger workloads for employees, a sacrifice that can lead to lower-quality work and expensive errors.
Thoughtful develops bespoke back office automation bots, allowing businesses to hire bots that are specifically designed to automate their tasks and workflows. After onboarding, the company monitors and provides reports on the performance of each bot, allowing clients to see the value of each bot and whether adjustments are needed.
Whilst back office automation tools are nothing new, these generally work as integrations within other platforms, whereas Thoughtul’s bots are uniquely designed to emulate a position that would otherwise be staffed by a human. The company claims that its bots can help OpEx teams minimize staffing costs and optimize workflows whilst preventing any risk associated with cost cutting.
