Role
Who you are
- We value curiosity, attention to detail, teamwork and initiative as much as technical skills
- You are naturally inquisitive, take initiative and like working with data to solve business problems
- You have 3+ years of experience working with data
- Prior experience in the financial services or vehicle lending is a bonus
- Feel confident using complex SQL and analytical tools (e.g. Python, R, Excel)
- Experience with using a BI Tool (we use Tableau)
- Enjoy helping others understand and use data effectively
- Can communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Thrive in a collaborative environment where listening and learning are valued as much as technical expertise
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, creating a supportive learning environment and overall effective team
- Can balance attention to detail with a bigger-picture view of how data impacts customers and business
- Can build strong, collaborative partnerships with stakeholders
- Care about creating inclusive financial products that meet real customer needs
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Data Analyst /Senior Data Analyst who enjoys working with others to uncover insights and shape data-driven decisions
- In this role, you will play a vital part in understanding our business, customers and creating financial products that are inclusive and meet real customer needs
- You will create strong, collaborative partnerships across the company to ensure data is at the core of our business
- This could be either through insightful analyses that recommend direction or reporting dashboards that make monitoring and insights intuitive for users
- You will help foster a culture where data supports both commercial growth and fairness and transparency
- We welcome colleagues to join us on either a full-time or part-time basis, depending on what works best for you
- For part-time team members, we offer flexibility at 70% and above of full-time hours, with a preference to spread your working time across five days
