What the job involves
- Reporting to the Director of Business Enablement, the Security Operations Enablement Program Manager is responsible for developing a comprehensive, scalable training program for all Security Operations new hires that will accelerate time to productivity and enable Deepwatch to achieve its goals
- Develop a systematic approach to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Operations organization
- Serve as the Operations onboarding program point-person for new hires from start of their ramp period to full productivity
- Build world-class training curriculum for the Operations team, including content and support of repeatable training courses to decrease ramp times for new hires and provide professional development opportunities for operations employees
- Work with Operations Leadership to determine skills and/or product knowledge gaps where training would make an impact
- Develop and deliver compelling training material in partnership with Subject Matter Experts
- Partner with Learning and Development team to build comprehensive plans within the Learning Management System (LMS) (communications, training, knowledge checks, etc.) to support knowledge retention
- Own the Operations Growth Playbook, Operations communication and release management programs
- Use your quantitative skills to interpret data, gain insights and then translate into actionable improvements
- Measure, analyze and report the impact of onboarding programs on key productivity indicators
- Leverage your knowledge and hands-on experience in complex security operations environments to develop a systematic approach that improves the efficiency and effectiveness of the Operations organization
- Convert security operations practices and concepts into content form that Learning and Development can use to design training programs
- Maintain enterprise calendar of new hire and ongoing training to track progress through learning activities, milestones, and assessments to ensure new hires are meeting benchmarks and to assess Operations readiness and learning/development needs
- Accurately determine if performance gaps can be closed via training and monitor performance improvement associated with training provided
- Demonstrate persuasive speaking skills and the ability to influence at all levels to acquire training content in partnership with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Customer Success Teams
- Partner with the Learning and Development team to provide training content, suggest training delivery methods, provide feedback on course content and materials, along with updates to workflows or practices in previously created material
- Perform in a Mac and Google Suite environment and use CRM software
- Leverage your familiarity with Security Analyst training platforms to accelerate analyst onboarding
