Who you are
- This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in insight mining, operational excellence and thought leadership
- Although direct people management is not an initial requirement, the ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams and be prepared to take on leadership responsibilities as the role evolves
- 5-10 years of experience in Strategy, Sales or Marketing Operations, Finance, Business Consulting, or related fields
- Proven track record of owning account carving, territory planning, market expansion motions
- Ability to deep dive into performance data and determine the risks and opportunities to key metrics (Total ARR, CAC, NRR, Magic Number, CSAT)
- Outstanding capability in delivering timely and proactive insights to Sales Executives and teams, adept at resolving both existing and unforeseen challenges, and providing recommended actions
- Bring best practices/first principle design to innovating processes
- Proven track record in facilitating strategic discussions, driving decision-making processes, and ensuring organizational alignment on key initiatives
- Proficiency in CRM and revenue operations technologies, with a keen understanding of how to leverage these tools for business growth
- Demonstrated skill in creating impactful C-level and Board-level content, including narrative structuring and presentation decks
- Deep understanding and experience directly supporting at least three of the following areas: Marketing, Sales Development, Sales, Partnerships/Channel, Customer Success, Customer Support, with a holistic view of how these functions drive business growth
- Demonstrable experience in managing projects and teams, with a strong interpersonal skills
- Confident and authentic, capable of stakeholder management of all seniority levels
- Capable of getting the bigger picture, work 80/20 and “get stuff done”
- You get up to speed on something new very fast and are comfortable with uncertainty - evaluating the quality of a decision as it is being implemented is normal to you
- A skilled communicator with strong story lining and slide-making skills
- High energy and motivating personality which spreads to the team and builds trust
- Nonpolitical (professionally speaking), open and transparent
- Have a data driven approach to decision making

What the job involves
- As a Revenue Operations Manager (or Specialist depending on experience level) at Monta you will play a critical role in our operations team, focusing on maximizing revenue efficiency across sales, marketing, and customer success departments
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to identify and rectify inefficiencies in the revenue cycle, collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on sales and marketing data to forecast trends, assess performance, and uncover optimization opportunities
- Oversee the implementation and management of revenue operations tools, ensuring seamless departmental integration and alignment
- Establish and refine scalable processes that uphold best practices in lead generation, sales conversion, customer engagement, and customer expansion
- Provide regular reporting on revenue performance metrics, offering strategic insights and recommendations to senior management
- Liaise with finance and business intelligence teams to guarantee precise revenue tracking and adherence to fiscal policies
- In this role, your contributions will not only be measured by the tasks you complete but also by the tangible outcomes and improvements they bring to our products and processes and also foster your professional growth and satisfaction:
- Improving key Sales and Customer Success metrics QoQ
- Improving time efficiencies, such as reducing admin and data collection turnaround
- Accuracy of planning and forecasting, through improved and proactive data visibility
Our take
Monta is an EV charging company that is building ways to make it easier to charge EVs from wherever you are. In order to do so, the company is working to digitise the EV charging ecosystem via a charging management platform.
Transforming mobility is a leading global effort towards a greener society and European cities are rapidly seeing the uptake of electric vehicles. In spite of this, there is a dearth of EV charging points, and Monta is trying to rectify this issue through its unique all-in-one EV charging platform, which makes charging vehicles simple and seamless, thereby increasing the adoption of a more sustainable method of transport.
Monta has invested its efforts toward opening up new markets, specifically North America, whilst consolidating its market position in Scandinavia, the UK, and Germany, as well as creating transparency within the electricity market and continuing to fund digitising the power grid infrastructure. Alongside this, the company recently partnered with Octopus Fleet to support the expansion of its fleet and energy services. This partnership strengthens Monta's role in large-scale fleet electrification and puts the company in a strong position as demand for reliable EV charging continues to grow.
