Senior Software Engineer, PlayStation

• Do you want to join a Machine Learning Platform engineering team committed to delivering the PlayStation experience for millions of users?
• 7+ years of experience in backend or infrastructure roles in the AI/ML space
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• Strong proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Java, Scala, or Go
• Experience with cloud and container technologies (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
• Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Github Actions, ArgoCD, etc.) and how they enable MLOps best practices
• Experience working with distributed systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer who helps us deliver delightful products and experiences for millions, in an agile environment, collaborating with teams-across Engineering, Security, Architecture and Product
• Further, you will be immersed in AI/ML technologies, tools and processes, as you help to advance our technical objectives and architectural initiatives
• Own, support, and optimize performance and costs across several ML platform components and services
• Design integration patterns for seamlessly incorporating new components (either built in house or off the shelf) into the ML platform
• Support planning and estimation of work requirements for delivering new ML platform capabilities
• Establish and maintain security, compliance, and governance standards for the ML platform
• Design comprehensive monitoring, observability, and alerting systems for understanding ML platform health
• Collaborate with ML engineering teams to support productionizing ML models and experiments
• Ensure ML platform scalability and reliability to support growing ML workloads
• Support the professional growth and development of junior engineers
