Who you are
- Strong track record of scaling CRM programs within digital businesses, directly driving revenue growth and retention
- Deep experience leveraging CRM platforms (e.g., Iterable) to build highly targeted audience segments and behavioral cohorts that drive engagement and conversion. You know how to go beyond standard demographics, using data to create hyper-relevant, personalized experiences at scale
- You don’t just strategize—you own execution from start to finish, ensuring every campaign delivers measurable impact
- Deep understanding of A/B testing methodologies and analytics tools with the ability to dig deep into data to understand next steps
- Knowledge of SQL and ability to make your own basic queries
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, tech, and analytics teams

What the job involves
- Audit & Strategy: Analyse current CRM data across email, push notifications, and in-app messaging for Galatea and GalateaTV. Identify opportunities to enhance customer segmentation and personalization, and suggest optimizations and innovations that will drive engagement and revenue
- Campaign Planning & Execution: Develop and execute data-driven campaigns with cutting-edge personalization automation that optimize conversion to paid customers, increase retention, drive renewals, and re-engage lapsed users
- Roadmap Development: Work closely with the CRM Director to develop strategic roadmaps that leverage advanced segmentation and behavioral triggers to optimize existing campaigns and launch new initiatives
- Technical Collaboration: Work closely with the tech team to implement personalization logic, dynamic content, and automated workflows that adapt to user behavior
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Deploy a rigorous test-and-learn approach—designing, executing, and iterating A/B tests to maximize impact
- Performance Analysis: Dive deep into CRM performance data to extract meaningful insights, refine targeting and messaging, and continuously optimize campaign effectiveness
- Innovation & Market Leadership: Stay ahead of CRM trends, emerging tools, and best practices, ensuring our lifecycle marketing strategy remains cutting-edge and highly effective
Our take
The current publishing industry makes it very difficult for breakout authors to achieve success. Furthermore, publications are often based off subjective opinions of those in the industry, and potential readers have no input in the matter, despite them being the force that will drive a book's success.
Inkitt takes a different approach to publishing in order to give writers a fairer chance of success. The company allows writers to submit their stories onto the website where readers have free access to read anything posted. Using an algorithm, Inkitt then determines which stories have the most reader engagement, and based on this information, decides which to take to official print and publication.
Several rounds of funding to the sum of more than $100 million have allowed Inkitt to invest more in its algorithm and technology and open offices in San Francisco. It's also looking to expand into more mediums such as video content and audiobooks, with a long-term aim of building a media empire akin to Disney. Though there's a long way to go for that lofty aim to come to fruition, Inkitt has already attracted 33 million users and published dozens of bestsellers.
