Role
Who you are
- 6-8 years of product marketing experience, with at least 2 years focused on competitive intelligence
- Proven track record of developing effective competitive strategies and programs
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience working directly with enterprise sales teams
What the job involves
- As a competitive product marketer obsessed with market dynamics and customer needs, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our solution becomes an indispensable asset to enterprises worldwide
- You will relentlessly analyze competitor movements, identify market opportunities, and craft compelling narratives that showcase our unique value
- Working cross-functionally, you'll drive competitive intelligence programs that shape product strategy, empower our sales organization, and reinforce Postman’s position in the market
- Own and maintain comprehensive competitive intelligence program, including competitor tracking, analysis, and insights distribution
- Develop compelling competitive positioning and messaging that differentiates our solutions in the market
- Create and maintain competitive battle cards, comparison guides, and other sales enablement materials
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to gather and analyze competitive insights from market interactions
- Lead win/loss analysis program to identify competitive trends and recommend strategic adjustments
- Present competitive insights and recommendations to executive leadership
- Train sales teams on competitive positioning and handling competitive objections
- Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to identify emerging competitors and opportunities
