Management Accountant, Uptick Software UK Ltd

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified (or part-qualified)
• 3+ years’ experience in industry or practice
• Strong grasp of financial and management accounting principles
• Experience managing tax filings (with support from FD and advisors)
• Clear, confident communicator who works well with senior leaders
• Hands-on, process-focused, and action-oriented

Desirable

• Own the monthly UK management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and KPI reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and rolling forecast updates
• Lead on UK tax compliance - VAT, PAYE, corporation tax - with support from external accountants
• Manage day-to-day finance ops: invoicing, ledgers, supplier payments, customer billing, payroll & reconciliations
• Support the Finance Director in preparing monthly ELT reporting packs
• Help strengthen and embed financial controls across the business
• Improve and streamline finance processes with a proactive, solutions-first mindset
• Contribute to commercial and cross-functional projects as needed
