Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in health care
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a huge plus
- 2+ years Customer Service experience
- Ability to balance multiple initiatives and prioritize work in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, organized and thorough with a desire for continuous process improvements
- Experience with data entry
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented with a high level of self-motivation; ability to accomplish goals independently
- Strong understanding of Medicare and healthcare operations
What the job involves
- As an Agent Support Associate, you will serve as the primary Devoted Health contact for brokers (independent sales agents) who help people choose a health plan
- The Agent Support Associate provides exceptional customer service responding to inquiries and building strong relationships with our brokers and agencies
- Answer Broker Inquiries: Address questions regarding Devoted Health’s services and plan benefits
- Assist with Application Status Help brokers check the status of applications submitted by for enrollment in Devoted Health’s plans
- Resolve Post-Enrolment Issues: Assist brokers in resolving issues once their clients are enrolled as members of Devoted Health
- Build Trust Through Excellent Service: Provide exceptional service to brokers to earn their trust and demonstrate our commitment to effectively serving their clients
- Gaining a solid understanding of Plan benefit offerings
- Learning about doctors, hospitals, and other providers in our network
- Understanding the enrollment process
- Knowing the commission payment procedures
- Handling calls in the Agent Support queue and messages from the agent portal
- Investigating and researching causes of broker issues
- Collaborating with partnership operations team to resolve issues
- Working collaboratively with internal partners to reduce issues for brokers and their clients and implement long term solutions to problems identified
- Establishing and maintaining solid relationships within the Devoted broker community
- Partnering with our Member Services team for various seasonal projects
