Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in software development projects
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles, particularly Scrum and Kanban
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities
- Experience with Jira
- Knowledge of software development practices and technologies
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

- Capacity to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
- Ability to effectively manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Basic understanding of software development concepts and technologies to better support the team
- Ability to lead by example and inspire teams to achieve their best
What the job involves
- Facilitate Scrum events (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective)
- Coach the development team in self-organization and cross-functionality
- Remove impediments and barriers that prevent the team from achieving its goals
- Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within the team
- Shield the team from external distractions and interference to maintain focus
- Assist product owners and Engineering Managers in managing the product backlog and prioritizing user stories
- Track and report on team progress, sprint velocity, and other relevant metrics
- Identify and escalate risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters or Agile Coaches to share best practices and align methodologies across teams
- Facilitate discussions and decision-making processes to resolve conflicts and promote consensus
