Role

Who you are

  • 5-7+ years of experience in quantitative analysis roles, ideally within a CRM or growth marketing context
  • Expert-level SQL skills & experience with DBT for data modeling and transformation
  • Strong experience using BI tools (e.g., Looker, Mixpanel) to effectively communicate CRM insights
  • A proven track record of using analytics to drive strategic decision-making and business outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex analyses into compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders
  • A self-starter with strong prioritization, problem-solving, and influence capabilities
  • Working knowledge of Python and associated analytics libraries (Pandas, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Google Marketing Platform tools and products
  • Experience setting up and evaluating experiments
  • Prior experience with direct response marketing test design and analytics

What the job involves

  • We are seeking an analytical and creative problem solver to lead analytics and data initiatives in support of our Growth teams
  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Growth Analytics, you will play a key role in optimizing strategies across marketing channels, lifecycle communications, and experimentation efforts
  • Your work will encompass managing data pipelines, performing in-depth tracking & measurement analyses, and driving growth initiatives
  • You will be instrumental in identifying technical opportunities to unlock performance, while also shaping the direction of Growth investments and overall business strategies
  • Partner closely with Growth leadership to shape data-driven strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, and profitability
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of CRM data to uncover opportunities for improved targeting, segmentation, and personalization, directly influencing marketing and product investments
  • Lead the design and analysis of experiments to optimize Growth efforts across multiple channels, utilizing test and learn methodologies
  • Innovate and continuously enhance analytic capabilities, driving actionable consumer insights through the evolution of reporting, monitoring, automation, and data democratization
  • Work closely with our CRM team & tech partners to ensure the availability, quality, and accessibility of data required for email reporting and analytics
  • Communicating technical material with clear data visualization and compelling narrative to a range of audiences to provide insight into the factors impacting business performance
  • Develop and maintain robust marketing data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and scalability to support various business needs
  • Build and automate dashboards, reporting systems, and analyses to track key growth metrics and provide actionable insights for leadership and channel managers
  • Own end-to-end management of Growth-related projects across Data, Engineering, and Product, ensuring that technical projects align with the Growth team needs to unlock incremental performance

The founders of Ro established the company because they felt that health insurance wasn’t working as it should, as the pooled cost of expensive treatments means that the price of individual doctor visits is inflated.

Ro’s primary care platform powers a personalized, end-to-end healthcare experience from diagnosis, to delivery of medication, to ongoing care. Instead of having to travel to a doctor’s office, Ro customers can access a video conference with a physician on-demand, from the comfort of their own home.

In order to tap into the global medical market, which is worth over $4 trillion, Ro raised $150 million at a valuation of $7 billion in 2022. It has expanded to more health areas, such as skincare and mental health, and launched an online pharmacy. Despite this, a substantial number of layoffs in spring 2022 indicated that Ro's accelerated growth had caused problems with its internal organization. Having now narrowed its focus and spending more on less, Ro has streamlined its operations and looks to continue on a steady upward trajectory.
