- You have a deep understanding and passion for the tech landscape, with a deep understanding and background in transactional and bulk email, along with best practices for email sending
- You have experience leading high-performing, multi-functioning teams in a matrixed environment
- You have directly held and delivered revenue targets and demonstrated commercial success in previous roles – particularly with building growth levers generating new business and onboarding new customers
- You understand how to work within an incredibly fast-scaling business and have the energy and passion around that
- You devise unique ways to solve problems, you’re able to connect the dots and nail down the root causes of problems. You don’t easily take no for an answer and are effective in translating strategic directions into action

- You can successfully determine the ROI on partnership opportunities, measuring investment and revenue, and able to articulate this to stakeholders
- You have a global view and direct experience with building out operations, teams, and programs, ideally within EMEA

What the job involves
- ActiveCampaign is seeking a senior leader for Postmark, our transactional email product and business unit
- The successful candidate will lead the growth of transactional email at ActiveCampaign
- This role will drive the vision and strategy for the product, identify key commercial opportunities and segments within the industry, and be a key partner to complement the core ActiveCampaign business
- This role will report to the Chief Product Officer and partner closely with key leaders of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and a range of internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer organizations
- As Head of Postmark, the focus will be on defining and building the commercial strategy for business growth
- Through a matrixed leadership structure, you will highly influence the product roadmap and support the optimal way to drive revenue growth and support the Postmark customer base
- Build and execute the commercial strategy for our transactional email business unit
- Define the Postmark product strategy to lead in the overall transactional email market and lead product and engineering teams through execution
- Analyze the current competitive landscape to define Postmark’s positioning in the market and build the product roadmap
- Define Postmark’s ideal customer profile
- Partner with ELT-level leaders in Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer to ensure all teams are focused on supporting all customers’ needs
- Develop an optimal pricing and packaging strategy
- Facilitate alignment with a cross-functional team to achieve product KPIs (ARR, NRR, etc.)
- Lead and inspire all team members contributing to the growth and success of our transactional email business
- Assess current and future needs of the Postmark business unit

ActiveCampaign provides an integrated platform for email marketing, marketing automation and CRM with the focus on providing businesses with the ability to optimize customer experiences. The platform leverages machine learning and automation to increase the rate that its clients can scale their engagement levels, regardless of whether the user is running a small or large business.
Despite high-profile competitors, the company has found a gap in the market by providing an integrated and unified solution combining hundreds of tools. The platform is available as an entire package for enterprises, but smaller companies can opt for cheaper and streamlined tool kits. In 2022, ActiveCampaign announced the implementation of over 400 customer ideas into its product. It has also partnered with ActiveEngine, the first ActiveCampaign-only agency, to enable businesses to make better discovery calls and close more deals. With the 2024 opening of a hub in Krakow, it is further expanding its European footprint.
