Senior Backend Developer, Heex Technologies

• Master in Computer Science, Engineering with 6+ years of experience (at least 3+ years in Golang) as a Backend Developer or similar role
• Proficiency in Golang and NodeJS
• Expertise in SQL (MariaDB) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
• Experience with server types: REST Api, gRPC, GraphQL
• Experience with designing for scalability, using caching and other performance improvement techniques
• Solid understanding of Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Problem-solving attitude
• You are a team player and enjoy fostering collaborative relationships with other departments
• You are fluent in English; French is a plus
• Knowledge in Docker & Kubernetes will be highly advantageous

Desirable

• You’ll be working hand in hand with our Lead Cloud Architect and will be reporting directly to the Head of Cloud Engineering. Your role will be to develop (with the help of our Lead Architect) a scalable and robust backend architecture of micro services
• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable backend systems
• Work closely with the frontend team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Implement security and data protection measures
• Design and implement data storage solutions (SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, MariaDB)
• Develop APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL) for client-server communication
• Collaborate in a team setting using Agile methodologies to achieve project milestones
