What the job involves
- As Relyance AI’s Chief of Staff, you will be a strategic partner to our CEO, Abhi Sharma, providing high-level support and guidance. You will be partnering closely with Abhi to strategically run the business
- Strategic Planning: Collaborating with the executive team, and the board to develop and execute strategic plans
- Operational Excellence: Overseeing day-to-day operations and calendaring for the CEO. Help drive CEO’s key initiatives and special projects to completion
- Project Management: Leading and managing cross-functional projects
- External Relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with investors, media, PR, partners, and other key stakeholders
- Team Leadership: Leading and Mentoring the other team member to elevate the Executive Operations function

Privacy and data governance are essential for businesses to minimize risk and maintain compliance, but modern data flows are difficult to keep track of. Data is shared through code, applications, third-party vendors, and infrastructure, and the manual aggregation of these sources into one place is too laborious for companies to have a comprehensive and holistic view of data risks.
Relyance AI provides a data governance and compliance platform, leveraging machine learning to build a dynamic real-time data inventory for businesses and mapping data flows to identify vulnerabilities. The platform also provides functionality for comparing data flows against contracts automatically, identifying when data processing activity is out of sync with compliance regulations.
While many other startups are leveraging AI to automate compliance and data governance, Relyance AI has focussed on increasing the transparency of data flows through automated mapping. With this approach, the company claims it can increase businesses’ understanding of their data flows and how to keep them compliant, ultimately saving them from expensive legal consequences and reputational damage.
