Who you are

You’re an energetic and organized self-starter; you understand the sales process, can build relationships with the right decision-makers, and can succinctly define and communicate the specific benefits of Shopmonkey appropriate for each client
You will be a key driver of revenue growth for the company, and on the front lines for promoting our product to prospective users
4+ years of sales experience, preferably at a technology company, with a track record of top performance
Ability to understand Shopmonkey's technology platform and build meaningful relationships with customers of varying technical savvy
Aptitude to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
Demonstrated passion for the startup community and new technology businesses
Superior verbal and written communication skills with an abundance of charisma, empathy, humility, and humor
Thirst for personal growth, team player mentality, and equal willingness to teach and learn
Willingness to travel 30% of the time, as needed, for prospect meetings

What the job involves

The Account Executive for Mid-Market will target prospective clients, turning them into happy, Shopmonkey evangelists
Grow new revenue by building relationships with high-potential prospects
Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality opportunities
Define and execute new sales strategies to effectively showcase the impact Shopmonkey can make in customer’s lives
Drive account growth by proactively upselling and cross-selling additional products. Maintain strong relationships with clients, monitoring their needs and effectively managing your book of business to identify new opportunities for expansion
Skilled in navigating complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, while effectively creating a sense of urgency to keep deals moving forward
Collaborate with our sales development, sales engineering, marketing, product and customer success teams to deliver outstanding results
Communicate accurate and realistic forecast information to the management team by ensuring our CRM is being utilized and managed effectively
Sell into auto shop businesses with 2-19 locations with an average contract value between $50,000-$100,000

The automotive repair industry traditionally requires a lot of paperwork associated with business management, vehicle certificates and other services. These elements are generally managed independently, and the mass of paperwork can become chaotic and difficult to manage.

Shopmonkey provides cloud-based management software specifically designed for auto repair shops. The software consolidates appointment scheduling, inventory and finances into a single digital platform. The aim of this service is to help streamline auto repair workflows and help speed up business growth.

Shopmonkey is trusted by over 3,500 shops, and is beginning to scale to personalize its services for bicycle, motorcycle and marine shops. The startup has recently formed a partnership with Affirm, allowing repair shops to offer flexible pay-over-time options and making it easier for customers to manage the cost of maintenance and repairs.
