Who you are
- We are looking for someone with a passion for marketing and a keen interest in e-commerce. You should be proactive, eager to learn, and ready to contribute ideas. Prior experience in marketing or related fields is beneficial but not required, as this role is designed to harness and develop your intrinsic skills
- Passionate about marketing and learning from a team who is excited to help develop your skills
- Love to write and have done some copywriting in studies, in a previous role or as a hobby
- Keen eye for detail
- Motivated and enthusiastic individual
- Experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and/or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- An interest in e-commerce and the media industry would be a bonus
What the job involves
- Are you ready to be our new marketing rockstar? For 12 months, you will be joining our international marketing team based in London
- As a Marketing Intern at Connexity & Skimlinks, you will immerse yourself in the exciting world of digital marketing within a rapidly growing industry. This role offers you the chance to own significant projects from day one, contributing directly to our expansion and success
- Reporting to our Marketing Manager, EMEA and collaborating closely with the Marketing Director and Director of Product Marketing & Customer Experience, you'll be instrumental in shaping our market presence
- Strategic Newsletter Management: Drive engagement through our pivotal newsletter program across EMEA, curating content that enables publishers to optimize their commerce strategies
- Content Creation: Spearhead our blog content, from ideation to execution, ensuring that each post not only engages but also converts
- Social Media Influence: Collaborate with various stakeholders to amplify Skimlinks' voice and presence across LinkedIn, enhancing our industry influence
- Supporting Geo-Expansion: Support key marketing campaigns and iniatiaties to support our commercial teams as we continue to grow internationally

Connexity is a marketing technology company that operates an online retail and e-commerce advertising network. Connexity, which was first founded as Shopzilla, offers online sellers and publishers a means of building revenue and finding new customers without having to sell data to big-name advertising and discovery brands, namely Google and Facebook.
Over the years, Connexity has accumulated a number of related businesses, including Become.com, Skimlinks and PriceGrabber. It covers various activities including affiliate links, influencer marketing, in-stream advertising, and shopping search ads. This has led to over 800 million shopping leads, and billions in sales for its customers (particularly impressive as the e-commerce world continues to struggle to keep online consumers' attention). Its customers include Walmart, Wayfair, Skechers, Macy’s, eBay and Otto.
In 2021, Connexity was bought by Taboola for $800M. The company plans to continue extending Connexity's adjacent technologies, allowing for more cross-selling and upselling opportunities. It is also focusing on developing tools that attract and convert ordinary site visitors into browsers and then into shoppers.
