Who you are

A minimum of 3 years experience using Go, Python, Java or related programming languages (< 1 year experience? We have special opportunities for you! Please apply directly to our University roles on our careers page)
Proven design sensibility and the willingness to work in a collaborative, team oriented environment
Experience in any number of related systems software projects e.g: Distributed systems, Operating systems, Linux Kernel, Database internals, Hypervisors, Containers, Compiler Optimization, etc.
Strong understanding of the Kubernetes ecosystem and design patterns. Experience working with Kubernetes systems in production environments is preferred
A BS degree in Computer Science; advanced degrees are a bonus!
Must be willing and able to work in an open office environment

Pure Storage-acquired Portworx’s cloud-native storage and data-management platform for the Kubernetes container orchestration platform has attracted customers from Lufthansa Systems and GE Digital to HPE.

Its services enable enterprise clients to reduce the cost and complexity of quickly deploying containerized applications across multiple cloud environments.

Shortly after receiving Series C funding, the company was acquired by Pure Storage. Despite competitors in this market, including Net App’s Project Astra, this acquisition coupled with Portworx’s strong founding team, puts it in prime position to retain its leading reputation.
