DevOps Engineer, Dotmatics

• We are looking for people who have 8+ years of experience maintaining complex technical infrastructure
• You will be someone with a proven background in supporting cloud environments, with hands on experience translating AWS well-architected principles into action
• Infrastructure as Code [Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation]
• AWS [ECS, EKS, ALB, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Route53, etc]
• Docker/docker-compose/Kubernetes
• Linux/Windows Operating Systems
• CI/CD Tools [Jenkins]
• MySQL or other relational database
• Scripting and various utilities such as grep, sed, awk

Desirable

• Dotmatics is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to be a key member of the Engineering team
• You will implement and support deployment processes for complex, enterprise-scale, client/server-based software systems as well as desktop applications
• Primary responsibilities are to create and implement automated scripts to enable deployment of Protein Metrics’ enterprise software for our customers, maintain monitoring and security tools, and support CI/CD processes
• If you are an individual who is motivated by technology, has good problem-solving skills, and is excited to help advance data analytics in life sciences, we would like to hear from you
• Develop and maintain Ansible/Terraform scripts for deploying our enterprise product on either AWS or customer's on-prem hardware
• Implement and maintain monitoring (Grafana / Prometheus)
• Develop well-architected build automation scripts
• Support CI/CD
• Support security features and fixes
• Maintain build environments for development, testing, and staging
• Performance and stability monitoring and troubleshooting
• Monitor cloud resource utilization and budget
• Monitor security threats and health of our systems
• Participate in Agile ceremonies
• Work with cross-functional teams across the globe to ensure high-quality product delivery for our customers
• Create and maintain technical specifications and design documentation
