Business Rates Coordinator, Fora

• This is a fantastic opportunity for someone — ideally from the rating industry — to step client-side and gain exposure to a large, dynamic property portfolio
• You’ll help manage Fora’s business rates liability across:
• 65 buildings
• 4,000+ assessments
• £100m+ rateable value portfolio
• You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business and play a critical role in helping us navigate the evolving risks associated with serviced office environments
• Act as a subject matter expert on business rates across the business
• Work with external advisors to optimise and mitigate rates liability
• Manage day-to-day portfolio activity, including:
• SBRR, EPR, MCC and other operational impacts
• Real-time issue resolution across sites
• Identify, track and manage rating risks, including:
• Missing or inaccurate assessments
• Forecasting future liabilities
• Support readiness for key changes:
• Duty to Notify
• Revaluations and legislative updates
• Partner with the transformation team to implement process and system improvements
• Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, property and finance
• Support reporting, modelling and analysis of rates data
