Who you are
- You have proven consistent success as a Senior Frontend or Senior Full Stack Developer
- Youâre a Frontend engineer, ideally with experience in React
- You have solid experience in Javascript. Having TypeScript experience would be a bonus!
- You understand the fundamentals and nuances of product development

What the job involves
- As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will work closely with your Product Team and pod in scaling and innovating our product like never before, with the opportunity to build brand-new solutions. Youâll be key in driving technical product choices as part of a cross-functional team of other engineers, Product Managers and UX Designers
- Every day youâll apply the âproduct engineerâ mindset, being close to users and their needs, collaborating in user research by joining sessions with patients and their healthcare teams, building with a focus on the end goal and being responsible for continuous improvement to the live services you have shipped
- Your day-to-day tasks, should you choose to accept this mission⌠đ¤
- You'll support with complex features and find solutions to problems that are not well-defined
- You'll support the development of junior engineers and be an example through mentoring in and outside of code (such as code reviewing and paired programming)
- You'll collaborate with other engineers and various stakeholders across teams and pods
- You'll help the development of our frontend guild and working groups, by sharing knowledge and best practices

Our take
Communication between patients and nurses/doctors has typically happened via telephone call or post. This outdated technology is costly and doesn't provide a great experience. Accurx solves this problem with its communication and collaboration platform.
Accurx is building tools that allow GPs and other healthcare providers to communicate more efficiently with their patients and with each other in order to deliver top-quality care. Its products are now used in over 95% of GP practices. This is testament to the value of Accurx's platform.
Since raising considerable funding, Accurx has been focused on growing its team and developing its products, including batch messaging between clinics and patients, to help care sites ease the burden of long wait lists and understaffing. With these challenges continuing to mount for the health system, Accurx is likely to remain in high demand for the foreseeable future.
