Who you are

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience with 5 years of software development experience
Demonstrated ability to work in Python, with a strong preference for those with experience using a systems language (e.g. C or C++)
Experience working with multi-modal image data, especially medical or geospatial images
Experience in working with database platforms such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, and/or Cassandra
Understanding of software development principles and experience across the stack (infrastructure, platform, back-end, web front-end)
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex projects with cross-functional teams

Desirable

Experience working with at least one cloud provider
Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure
Familiarity with AI/ML libraries and frameworks
Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, such as CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code
Experience working with data storage and distributed processing technologies, such as Hive, Spark, Trino, Flink or SQL databases
Strong communication skills and the ability to learn quickly within a collaborative environment

What the job involves

As a senior software engineer for our AI / ML Platform, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our AI-enabled operations, service, and products
Your work will be at the forefront of designing, building, and operating infrastructure, platform, and applications for machine learning and AI
This role will research and develop full-stack software solutions for a variety of use cases aimed at AI / ML infrastructure, with a possibility of including some ML and DL modeling for those who are interested!
Build and contribute to tools that help discover data, move it around, and derive insights from it
Contribute to design and development of data infrastructure that can scale to support our exponentially increasing data needs
