Role
Who you are
- Have a broad set of expertise and experience on various technical matters and, in particular, with designing, developing, and deploying API-first, cloud-native systems
- Have a strong understanding of modern front-end frameworks and technologies, with deep expertise in JavaScript, React, and Next.js (or similar frameworks) for server-side rendered websites
- Possess a solid foundation in state management, responsive design principles, and web accessibility standards
- Are familiar with mobile application development or frameworks like React Native
- Embrace the principles of the 12 Factor App methodology and may even have formulated your own additional factors!
- Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software in agile environments
- Have some experience in payments or the FinTech industry, understanding the nuances of secure and scalable transaction flows
- Are skilled in debugging complex issues, optimizing performance, and providing technical mentorship to other team members
- Value collaboration, effective communication, and a growth mindset
What the job involves
- We are looking for a relentlessly driven and intellectually curious individual to join our Payments Integration Tribe
- Although your primary responsibility will be to focus on front-end logic, you are most likely a full-stack technologist who spends time hands-on writing code, driving technical discussions and decisions, and actively guiding architecture, tool choices, and internal technical quality
- You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces
- You’ll also contribute to shaping our product’s design and user experience, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of payments innovation
- We are deploying to Kubernetes (K8S) with ArgoCD on AWS but remain somewhat cloud-agnostic as we are pursuing a multi-cloud strategy
- Work with a highly experienced and driven team, learning the ins and outs of creating and growing a technology company
- Influence important technical decisions and shape the future of our platform, business, and payments ecosystem

Our take
In a world where almost everything is automated or online, there is an expectation that payment networks function seamlessly. However, processing remains a hiccup in many B2B buying/selling processes. Looking to address inefficiencies in the global payments market is Navro, with its "one contract and one API" approach.
Normally, payees and payers must deal with multiple service providers and navigate various regulatory systems. Navro instead unifies disparate processes into one platform. The company targets a broad range of clients from marketplace and eCommerce businesses to those managing pensions and payroll, and boasts an expanding customer base.
Navro recently secured Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licenses in both the UK and Ireland, signifying significant regulatory progress and potential market expansion. The company also secured substantial funding, that will be crucial for fuelling Navro's growth and strengthening its global payments infrastructure moving forwards.
