Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or customer marketing in the technology industry, preferably within cloud networking or related domains
  • Proven track record of driving customer engagement, pipeline growth, and revenue through effective field marketing strategies and initiatives
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking technologies and trends
  • Experience in developing and executing high-impact marketing programs, utilizing innovative approaches such as virtual reality experiences
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely execution
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, partners, and customers
  • Proficient in analyzing marketing metrics and deriving actionable insights from data
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present marketing plans and results to stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve marketing objectives

What the job involves

  • Aviatrix, the leader in secure cloud networking, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. The Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing field marketing strategies to drive demand generation, increase partner engagement, and support sales efforts.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B marketing, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successful field marketing campaigns
  • Develop and execute field marketing plans to support sales objectives and drive demand generation
  • Plan and manage regional events, trade shows, conferences, and maintain a calendar of programs
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify target accounts and develop account-based marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with partner sales teams to engage with reselling partners to support and enhance local events
  • Collaborate with the broader Aviatrix marketing team to deliver compelling presentations, collateral, and promotional materials with consistent messaging and branding
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, partners, and industry associations
  • Track and analyze the performance of field marketing campaigns and provide actionable insights
  • Manage the field marketing budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources
  • Collaborate on the development of demand generation (demand gen) programs to increase awareness and adoption of Aviatrix

Aviatrix is trying to modernise cloud technology by overcoming the isolation of different clouds that are built and operated by different companies. Its software facilitates multi-cloud networking, providing visualization, smooth data access, and firewall management.

The cloud revolution caused a mass migration of companies’ data from on-premise storage to cloud storage, but this migration is still ongoing. Aviatrix’s software helps with this migration and then allows these clouds to communicate with each other, while maintaining security, data integrity, automation, and user friendliness.

The rapid growth and enormous potential in this market has been noted by other companies and while investments are currently high, the space is likely to become crowded as competitors such as Site24x7 offer similar services.
