Each patient that requires care will have different needs, including types of services and technology, in order to receive person-centered and effective care. At-home care services provide a more personal solution to care homes, but services often remain uniform. Vesta Healthcare is trying to change this with its custom technology.
It provides care tech that enables 24/7 telehealth support and real-time insights through wearable tech to ensure care experiences reflect the patient's day-to-day needs. It has shown that 88% of urgent alerts can be managed and resolved in the home, in partnership with caregivers, resulting in an over 30% reduction in emergency room visits and hospital admission rates.
The company has raised over $100 million including funding from Oak HC/FT, Deerfield, and Nationwide. The startup initially focused on providing its services in New York but aims to expand to additional states in the US.
