Role
Who you are
- We seek enthusiastic professionals to contribute diverse perspectives and experiences to our Brokerage-as-a-Service platform
- 4-6 years of progressive experience in month-end close process, review, and analysis
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or commensurate experience
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- Financial services, broker-dealer, software, and Fintech experience desired
- Experience in Netsuite, SAP, or Oracle
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Public accounting experience is a plus
What the job involves
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Business, Operations, and Technology to prepare and streamline month-end close journals to solve for scale and future effortlessness
- Take ownership and accountability of cash and balance sheet reconciliations
- Lead, implement, and execute process improvement and control procedures to facilitate efficient and accurate month-end close
- Have a sense of urgency but maintain attention to detail while participating and representing the accounting team on strategic initiatives and special projects, prioritizing Market>Partner>DriveWealth>Self
- Provide support for financial statement audits and tax
- Facilitate monthly liquidity and cash movements
