Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
Working knowledge of SFDC
1+ years inside sales software experience preferred
Experience calling into the CXO level
Proven Track Record with New Account Development
Highly motivated professional with excellent interpersonal skills
Consistent track record for meeting and exceeding lead generation and sales objectives
High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment and professionalism
Self-starter with solid organizational and planning skills
Discipline to maintain high call volumes

What the job involves

As an Inbound SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospects who have shown interest in our solution whether through our website, events, or content. Your mission is to engage qualified leads, understand their needs, and set them up for success with our sales team
This isn’t just about responding to interest it’s about creating a thoughtful, helpful, and consultative experience that reflects the value we bring. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing and sales, using curiosity, empathy, and insight to turn interest into opportunity
Following up on inbound marketing generated leads, cold calling, and multi-touch activity
Meet monthly and quarterly opportunities objectives
Eager to learn and continually develop oneself
Embrace, adapt and contribute to an ever-changing environment
Demonstrate accountability and ownership of personal success
Work collaboratively with broader sales org to drive pipeline growth across sales teams
Demonstrate clear understanding of Tipalti’s product and service value propositions
Understand in full, the prospecting processes and larger sales process of the sales organization
Show progression and desire to excel in the SDR role as well as interest and effort to gain knowledge and needed skills in larger sales org and parallel functions. Career Progression is supported and expected at Tipalti
Meet the agreed upon expectations of metrics; activity (calls and emails) as well as aligning to marketing initiatives needing outreach

Digital finance innovations across the last decade have dramatically changed how financial operations are conducted, with businesses managing their payables workloads digitally. Despite such innovations, many workflows are still conducted manually, leading to time-consuming, repetitive and inefficient workflows.

Tipalti provides a global payments, accounts payable and purchase order automation platform, with tools for each area to reduce manual workflows and optimize operations. The platform’s functionalities are designed to be flexible for the scaling of growing businesses, helping to optimize financial visibility, efficiency and control without the need for business infrastructure changes.
