Who you are
- A minimum of 2 years of sales, portfolio, account executive or relationship management experience with the proven ability to accelerate account growth and engagement
- The ability to navigate multiple internal systems and tools and thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Prior experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tool

What the job involves
- Product Knowledge Expert: Understand ShipMonk’s products’ features allowing you to present the benefits accurately and persuasively. We need enthusiastic individuals to be passionate about ShipMonk’s products and eager to share the benefits while selling to perspective clients
- Presentation Skills: Able to facilitate a flawless presentation that engages the customer, interprets and understands the mindset of the listener while providing a consultative approach to negotiate service agreements to close business
- Relationship Builder: Construct strong relationships with customers that embody the Shipmonk "GSD" attitude
- Problem Solver: Find that solutions equal customer retention and closed deals. Candidates must use critical thinking to identify an issue and provide solutions that win business
Our take
ShipMonk was created when its founder realized how US merchants would often refuse to ship to certain locations internationally. The company has grown to allow small to medium size e-commerce brands to scale through its 4-in-1 cloud based software, which integrates with a company's inventory management, orders, warehousing and shipping systems.
To supplement its SaaS and offer real logistical value, ShipMonk operates a growing number of strategically located warehouses throughout the US, Canada, Mexico and the UK. This means that even the smallest eCommerce brands are able to deliver goods within just two days, while reducing shipping costs compared to traditional delivery channels.
Since launching in 2014, ShipMonk’s trajectory has been remarkable for a company that was largely bootstrapped without major funding. However, 2020 saw a boom in demand for its services, and since then ShipMonk has scaled up enormously, receiving huge financial investment and acquiring complementary businesses along the way. Having now established fulfilment centres in Birmingham (UK) and Texas, ShipMonk is eyeing up strategic acquisitions and additional expansion within the US and Europe.
