Who you are

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
5+ years of experience as a software engineer
Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, C++ or Python
Experience working with distributed systems
Experience with AI/ML, database systems and SQL, is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

What the job involves

As a member of the Cortex Apps backend engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications that transform how users interact with their data
Design and implement scalable and secure applications that enhance data search and analysis capabilities
Optimize application performance to ensure low-latency and high-quality user experiences
Deploy and manage search infrastructure components using containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Use metrics and alerting to monitor applications and ensure reliability and uptime
Continuously improve functionality through experimentation, A/B testing, and performance tuning
