Who you are

Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
8+ years of experience in AdTech preferred in commercial positions
Experience with audience data vendors across AdTech and commerce media partners
Understanding of Ad Serving Ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, OVPs Exchanges, Networks, ad servers, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulately explain platform technology in a group setting, as well as, the ability to convey complex technical requirements and ideas to both technical and commercial stakeholders
Strategic and creative thinking capabilities with tactical execution skills and the ability to identify potential strategic alignment across multiple partner segments
The ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
The capacity to act as a self-starter that doesn't wait to be told what to do but sees the opportunity and initiates activity

What the job involves

The Director, Strategic Partnerships supports our Strategic Partnership team in building and managing relationships with 3rd party partners of technological solutions
Magnite has a range of partnerships that are core to the development of continued success in the organization
Magnite invests in these relationships to drive thought leadership, brand awareness, and satisfy current and future customers who rely on 3rd party technologies
Manage day- to-day interactions with 3rd party technology partners
Support internal teams to help and foster partner growth and revenue
Increase the awareness of Magnite offerings in partner companies
Create training materials for partner launches and coordinate internal training
Report on technical partner marketing efforts and product needs
Maintain partner accounts and reports in SalesForce
Convey complex technical requirements and ideas to technical and commercially focused internal and external stakeholders
Create a tactical executable strategy that aligns across multiple partner segments for our 3rd party technology partners

Our take

Due to the rise in mobile and smart devices in recent years, the way in which advertisement publishers must format their ads is changing. A key example of this is TV, advertisements that present immediate calls to action within a Connected TV user interface, but publishing ads in such a format is currently inaccessible to most publishers.

Magnite provides a sell-side omnichannel advertisement platform for publishers, focused on facilitating the selling of advertising on all formats including CTV, mobile, desktop, and audio. In addition to facilitating the buying and selling of omnichannel ads, the company also provides a real-time ad performance dashboard, data protection and compliance tools, and insights into buying and selling patterns.

Whilst other omnichannel advertisement platforms present significant competition to the company, Magnite stands out by providing an end-to-end marketplace for the buying, selling, management, and analysis of ads.
