Who you are
- This ideal candidate has great communication skills and is comfortable speaking to all levels of the organization
- 5+ years in a Solutions Engineering or similar customer-facing technical role
- Curiosity about AI and some experience with prompt engineering (formal or self-taught)
- Familiarity with APIs and authentication methods (e.g., REST, OAuth 2.0)
- Clear written and verbal communication, with an ability to tailor your message
- A collaborative, get-things-done mindset
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience—what matters most is your ability to learn and deliver
- Bonus: Experience with tools like Salesforce, Zendesk, or working in/with call centers

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to join the Presales team at Replicant. This individual will learn the art of building AI Agents and prototyping customer service use-cases for demoing to potential prospects so that we can tell meaningful stories and win new business opportunities
- Replicant is picking up traction with customer service organizations across the B2B sector in retail, insurance, travel, financial services, healthcare, and more
- We are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer with a computer science, management information systems, or technical sales background to help think through integration and how Replicant will interface with existing customer service technologies to develop solutions for potential prospects
- This role will work with the account executive and assist with the presales process
- Work closely with the sales team to gather customer requirements
- Own the technical side of the sales process
- Identify technology trends in industry verticals
- Use visualization tools to illustrate AI Agent design, integration points, dataflow, and more
- Review and write API specifications for internal and external stakeholders
- Design and refine conversational AI agents by crafting, testing, and iterating on prompts to optimize performance, tone, and resolution quality
- Lead hands-on trials with prospects, using their call center data to demonstrate the value of Replicant’s platform
- Analyze conversational data to uncover trends, insights, and areas for automation or improvement
- Translate findings into clear narratives that resonate with business and technical stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure trial success and stakeholder alignment
- Attend customer meetings and provide technical support to the Account Executives
Our take
Whilst automation and AI are being applied to industries across the world, customers must still endure long waits and inconsistent service from telecommunication services. In addition to this, customer service agents must answer the same repetitive questions hundreds of times every day, which is both expensive and inefficient. Replicant uses neural networks to provide completely autonomous call center technology, that aims to provide intelligent and human-like alternatives to customer service agents.
Replicant's service understands context, accents, slang, and technical terms, providing far more intelligent results than simple answer-recognition phone services. Although various startups are taking steps towards reducing bottlenecks within customer service calls through autonomous chatbots, Replicant stands out by focusing on providing realistic and engaging conversation through neural networks, providing a convincing replacement that reduces costs and frustrations within call centers of any type.
Replicant has secured a good amount of funding to fuel its to ambitions to expand research and development, improving its conversations, and launch new automated channels. The company also plans to increase headcount across a range of teams, onboard new customers, and launch professional development programs for its employees.
