FP&A Manager, Creditspring

• Strong financial modelling capability: able to build an integrated three statement model from a blank sheet and defend every driver in it
• Working fluency in credit and funding mechanics: loss curves, excess spread, net interest margin, advance rates, covenant headroom
• Commercial analytics experience: pricing, cohort economics, retention, contribution margin, test design and read out

• Reporting to the Senior FP&A & Capital Markets Manager, this role will take ownership of the analytics that underpin some of our most important commercial decisions, from pricing and cohort economics to understanding the trade-offs between growth, profitability and losses
• You will also strengthen our operating model so that it can withstand the demands of diligence, be rapidly rebuilt under multiple scenarios, and reconcile confidently to audited financials and lender reporting
• This is a deliberately commercial role
• We are looking for someone who will develop a point of view, challenge assumptions and use data to influence decisions
• You will turn the plan from a spreadsheet exercise into an operating discipline that helps shape how we run and grow the business
• Own the integrated operating model.Take end-to-end ownership of the three-statement operating model, ensuring its integrity, documentation, version control and audit trail, with clear reconciliation to the general ledger, management reporting and lender reporting
• Lead planning and forecasting. Run the annual budget and reforecast cycles from assumption-setting through challenge and finalisation, partnering with the Head of FP&A and Capital Markets on key assumptions and plan sign-off
• Turn performance into insight. Own monthly actual versus plan analysis, identifying the underlying causes and commercial consequences of performance rather than simply reporting variances. Produce clear, decision-focused reporting for Exco and the Board
• Embed financial ownership across the business. Build and maintain department-level budgets, partner with functional leaders to understand performance against plan, and establish consistent KPI definitions across management, Board, lender and data reporting
• Own unit economics and pricing analytics. Develop cohort-level understanding of acquisition cost, revenue, interest income, losses, retention, contribution and payback, alongside pricing analytics covering elasticity, product mix, margins, credit quality and customer retention
• Evaluate commercial and product decisions. Build the financial case for pricing changes, commercial initiatives and product tests, and provide rigorous post-implementation analysis to determine whether expected outcomes were delivered
• Lead scenario modelling and strategic decision support. Quantify the trade-offs between growth, profitability, loss rates and excess spread, including modelling funding capacity and covenant headroom with Treasury. Translate alternative strategies into clear risk-and-return choices for the CFO and CEO
• Build a scalable FP&A capability. Manage and develop a Business Analyst, automate reporting and planning processes, and establish clear ownership and deadlines across FP&A deliverables. Create a function where analyst capacity is increasingly focused on insight and decision support rather than data assembly
